Hi!

I'm Erika, a bilingual (hablo español), emotion-focused and somatic mental health counselor. I help people heal core wounds and align mind, body, and spirit. I work with individuals, couples and those in non-traditional relationships.

My holistic counseling approach integrates, emotion-focused, psychoanalytic, brain-based, and spiritual modalities. My work is heavily informed by Brainspotting, Experiential Dynamic Therapies based on attachment theories like ISTDP, and AEDP, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Yoga, Parts and Ancestral work.​​​

I am here to hold space for you, to be fully present for your healing experience and to attune with your being so that your nervous system can return to homeostasis and your body can heal and restore itself.​ 

Healing does not have to be done alone, it does not have a timeline or age, and often it is not linear. It can be uncomfortable and challenging, restorative and humanizing. It is an ongoing process of liberation done with others along the way. And most importantly, I believe that it is an act of love, a deep love for self, for family, for community, for ancestors, and for future generations that will inherit the Earth.​​
